Group Description :
The aim is to share a love of poems and poets with like-minded members by selecting one poet per month. We are looking at twentieth centuary poets. We alternate monthly between male and female poets. Louis MacNeice, Carol Ann Duffy, Jackie Kay, Benjamin Zephaniah, Roger McGough, Robert Frost, Ted Hughes, Sylvia Plath, Pam Ayres, are just some of the poets poems we have looked at so far. Members read out their choice of poem(s) and members contribute their thoughts and ideas about the poems chosen.
