Group Details For History Discussion Group

A HISTORY Discussion Group, British, European and International, in which the members agree among themselves what subjects to cover. The Group Leader (known as the Co-ordinator) provides a brief introduction to the subject chosen and then he and/or the members suggest a book or books to read (or even a place to visit in person - or on-line, to cater for those with mobility issues). The Group meets monthly to discuss what members have read in books, or otherwise found out, about the chosen subject. We then decide at the end of the meeting whether to take that subject further, or to start on something different, for next time.
